The people behind the Camera

We have both been keen Photographers for many years. John since his teenage years, following in his fathers footsteps doing Weddings, Landscape and Portrait Photography as a second income. Julie's photography was more of a passion leaning more to family and pet photography. Fourteen years ago we both decided to pack up our jobs, believe in ourselves and go full time. We opened our studio and also offered our services as professional Wedding photographers.

As with all new business ventures the first couple of years were hard, but we have not looked back and have no regrets. Have we ever been tempted to go back to our old profession? The money was good and regular! The answer is NO, the job satisfaction Photography brings makes us richer in so many ways.

Before taking the step to make photography our sole income, we had both spent our working lives in the public sector, so interacting and dealing with people comes natural and easy for us. We are people people and enjoy every aspect of it. anyone who believes that a photographers job is to point the camera and shoot is so so wrong, we need to gain your trust and to build a friendship in order to get the best from our clients. We need to control your guests in a friendly manner so they give us their best to create your perfect memories.

An added bonus we offer is that for thirteen years before we took the leap into full time photographers we both worked in a local 5 star wedding venue working with hundreds of brides and grooms through every aspect making sure their day run smoothly. With that experience we can honestly say that we know how a wedding is supposed to work from start to finish and because of this every venue, church or registry office that we have worked with always welcomes us back with open arms helping the day go more smoothly.
